Our company

Our long-established German family business TITANIA® Fabrik GmbH, based in Wülfrath (North Rhine-Westphalia) near Düsseldorf, is today one of the largest manufacturers of personal care products and cosmetics in Europe. With a product range of more than 1,300 products and a presence in over 120 countries, TITANIA® represents the highest quality “Made in Germany”. 

We maintain the high quality standards and expertise of our German brand thanks to our own development department, our in-house production facilities in Germany – divided into cosmetics production/filling and hardware production – with an average of 200 employees and carefully selected partner companies. 

Our family business TITANIA® still has a lot more to offer. We constantly strive to grow and continually adapt our range to meet the needs and wishes of our international customer base.

Since 1950, TITANIA® has been producing high-quality, long-lasting body care products for the whole family that contribute to each person’s individual beauty – regardless of age or stage of life. Because here at TITANIA®, we want everyone to feel comfortable in their own skin. 

With our innovative beauty products, we offer an extensive range of products divided into the following areas: HANDS & FEET, FACE, HAIR, BODY, BABY, MY STYE, MEN, ACCESSOIRES und PHARMACY. The internationally recognised “Made in Germany” label of origin stands for quality and product safety. As a result, TITANIA®’s customers can always rely on the highest quality standards.

BERRYWELL® – Professional Haircare

Since 2006, the BERRYWELL® brand has been part of our company and adds to the range with its exclusive professional hair products, “Made in Germany”. All product formulas are based on in-depth market studies and are developed in close collaboration with hair stylists. They are therefore particularly user-friendly and precisely tailored to the needs of customers.

Niyok® – 100% natural cosmetics

The German natural cosmetics brand Niyok® was founded in Berlin in 2018, and it complements our portfolio with its innovative and increasingly plastic-free personal care products. As one of the most important players in the European natural cosmetics industry, Niyok® develops solid shampoo, shower and facial cleansing products, aluminium-free deodorants, toothpastes and toothbrushes as well as mouth oils and mouthwashes.

Independence through in-house production – “Made in Germany”

By manufacturing in-house at our production facilities in Germany, we can supply first-rate and long-lasting quality products that customers can rely on. We also continuously strive to optimise our production processes using the latest technology.

As one of Europe’s largest manufacturers in the beauty industry, TITANIA® operates largely independently of suppliers. We are committed to our production site in Germany and only purchase a small part of our range from audited partners as an additional service for our customers. Long-standing customer relationships are important to us, and we maintain them – in some cases, for three generations. 

Success through three generations

Friedel-A. Kotte Senior founded our family business in 1950, and together with his wife, Anneliese Kotte, they successfully built up and established the company. André Kotte joined the company in the mid-1980s and became a part of the management team at the end of the 90s. He began by developing the infrastructure at the Wülfrath site as well as maintaining international customer relationships. Today, his sons Julius and Michel Kotte, the third generation, are also contributing to the success of TITANIA® with their enthusiasm and modern ideas.Our company is shaped not only by our regional roots, but also by our shared values, which include prioritising high quality, reliability, integrity, respect, and sustainability.
